Film ‘The Kashmir Files’, written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri , presents fictional storyline but one of the most horrible event ever happened in India. It is the depiction of ‘The pain of Kashmiri Pandits’ that how they were tortured, harassed and forced to leave their homeland. The movie shows the event of 19 th January 1990 which were particularly vicious. It is shown that the extremists were yelling the slogans of “Convert, leave or die”. According to this, the Kashmiri Pandits were given options to convert themselves to Islamic religion, leave Kashmir keeping women behind or die. The Prohibition of Unlawful Religious Conversion Ordinance or the law against ‘Love Jihad’ is a piece of legislation that has either been passed or tabled in the legislative assemblies of close to a dozen BJP-ruled states. The verbatim text of the anti-conversion ordinance which has been passed in Uttar Pradesh reads as follows: “ to provide freedom of religion by prohibition of conversion from one religion to another by misrepresentation, force, undue influence, coercion, allurement or by any fraudulent means or by marriage and for the matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.” The nature of this ordinance indicates a marked departure from the normal procedure established by law, in that the burden of proof falls on the accused instead of the prosecution. The School in Karnataka ban Hijab because that was disturbing the school uniform and seen as a religious promoting and they are not allowed to enter the schools and colleges in India. Hijab is a head covering for Muslim girls. It can be seen that the schools are more interested in raising the issues related to the religious and not focusing on the academic studies . The Muslim girls protested for there right and response to it the Hindu students counter protested by wearing a saffron shawl. The protest was later raised in such a manner that both the communities came on roads with slogans, harassed girls and stone pelting was also reported.
